Miss Mae

A portrait I did for my beautiful friend, Mae. Gorgeous girl, who I'm probably lucky that she's even able to tolerate me. She's an amazing girl, with such nice eyes and a killer smile.

I'm happy she liked it.

I'll be updating with a few more images soon, keep checking it out! Working on several between commissions, at the moment.

Anti-Christmas commission

not so much a commission, cause I volunteered when my friend Nate proposed the idea to me! It was fun to do, but quick as well (internet and real life problems aside! eesh)..

So a very quick painting of Krampus, the demon who accompanied Santa Claus and sent all the naughty children to Hell. Check up on him if you're curious :)

This is a cd cover for an anti-Christmas cd full of wicked songs, commissioned to me and put together by my friend Nate Amey. A lot of people we know are involved musically in this cd, so it's kinda sweet. :)

Works in Progress

Here's a quick view of shit i'm working on currently. I didn't put up the commissions I'm doing in this, all personal pieces... except the left one :) That one is for a client, but they allowed me to put it up.

Trying to get a load of Halloween art up and finished! got a new job downtown Kingston, so I've been busy. Next year, however, I plan on owning an office space to start a studio.

Good times.

Angels and demons

After watching the trailer for the game Limbo, I had to try my hand at the style. So that's what the black and white one is all about... very quick, but fun to do. Working on a quick story in this style.

The other is a character of mine named Israfel-- she's an angel, part of a large story I have, as are most of my characters.

Done to destress between commissions.

Captain Kife t-shirts!

Some shirt designs I was commissioned to do by the band Captain Kife. It was their ideas, and I was just supposed to do 'em. You can obviously tell what the first one is based off of. :) The second is the name of their album, haha.

Fun stuff.

Wrist tattoo designs

This was for my boss/high school buddy Jake's wife Sue. She had a design already, wanted me to spiff it up and make it better, and so I did this colour spread for her real quick!

She's getting another one too, of one of my chicks on her shoulder. :) Designing that now.

Pirate Hooker

She's not really. But it's just fun to call someone a Pirate Hooker.

FINALLY, SHE'S FUCKING DONE.
I've been working on this girl for jeez, 3 ears. Updating the style, painting... it's sad though, that my digital painting skills are getting better than my painting skills. I'll have to do something about that.

I haven't gotten a name for her or her cat, but I've had some suggestions.. if anyone else does, I'd be all about hearing them!

Lisa

Not bad for my first try, I think...
I've known this girl for a long time now, but only recently having moved to Kingston have I got to spend time with her. She's given me a hell of a lot of inspiration . She's pretty, and is fucking funny. And has some of the best movie tastes out there! So this is for Lisa. Glad you liked it. :D

Spent a lot of time and threw up a grid system to get things accurate. Trying to get my digital painting skills better. Slowly getting there... will get better!

Snakey Woman

Aren't they all? *duck*

This is a drawing I did up for my friend Christina, from school! It's one of her characters I took an interest in and suddenly drew! Very fun!

Glad she liked it, too!

Roomie

For my roomate Hilary! Based off of a photo.

I may however redo the fairy sometime!

Life Drawings/Friend Drawings

Here we go...

Here's another drawing from a life drawing session I had on Amherst Island...

Also, two portraits I did of my friends Jaime and Hayley! Thanks for letting me crash! I love craft paper :D

Recent Stuff!!

Let's see here.... two life drawings from a session out on Amherst Island... I get to work with some amazing artists! It's great seeing how they work

And one picture I quickly painted up between work... so like.. 45 mins plus a little extra to do the background, I think.

That one is based off the song "Violins" by Joey Cape/Lagwagon

Sketches and Works in Progress

Some Hidden Leaf Shinobi girls, 15-20 min sketch each. And an update on my pirate picture! I'm a little stuck, but I'm gunna try and finish it within the next few days!

Streex of Pink and Black

Been practicing other peoples styles... got influenced by this guy:
http://xav-drawordie.deviantart.com/

Check his stuff out, french artist, amazing-- my friend Andre had posted up about him on Facebook.

He had a series of drawings done in just pink/black/white so I wanted to try my style in that colour scheme. Not bad! Kind of a boring pose, but hey

Psylocke

2-3 hours of fun and practice. Psylocke, from the X-men. I think there's a couple of adjustments I need to do first tho....
meh!
She's one of my favourite characters for some reason.

Waterfall commission

Gotta work on my landscapes more, but this had to be done within 2 hours and the person liked it. just wish I could of spent way more time on this :P She had given me photo references and how she wanted it. And she was happy with it! so, I can't complain

Fairy Geisha Commission

A commission I finished up for a friend of mine, Raven! She wanted this for her daughter. I painted it rather big, so the smaller pic loses it's detail, so check it out a little bigger. :) Might even put a bigger one for detail, no clue.

Shark Swimming Animation--rough!

I'm working on a game with my friend Scott Woods for the iPod Touch. Here's just a quick rough animation of the main character having a swim. Got the go ahead to at least put this baby up for now, dunno how much more I'll do, but I'll see if I can do the cleanup once it's done, too!!

And then the colour version-- tho this is me just screwing around-- the peg bar moved it looks like so he jumps a bit-- Gunna have to rescan! And do some better shading.

He'll be like, the size of your fingernail on the screen, probably smaller, haha.

Captain Kife Cd Cover

Here's the cover and cd art I did for my friends band, Captain Kife!

(I'll add a bigger version once I get the go-ahead)

I spent the most time on the background and wish I spent more time on the people :P Oh well!

The cd is a 4 song EP and my buddy Aaron (guitarist, singer, song writer) came home with 1000 of these puppy's to sell!

It's.. intense to see 1000 of something you drew altogether in 3 boxes :D And it'll be a great feeling knowing some people will have this disc in their collection.

So if anyone is interested, you can listen to some of their tunes here!:

Captain Kife
$5 for the EP, if anyone is interested. I'm quite sure they'll mail copies away!

Their official EP release is in January, but they'll be releasing a few cd's at the upcoming Moneen show, in Kingston Ontario (if you know, anyone local is seeing this) on the 11th of December!

Whether you want a cd or not, check them out, they've got some killer tunes :D I recommend Applications

Kife - (descriptive noun) a term used to describe shitty weed in the Greater Napanee area and surrounding area. Not associated with how the music sounds.

Warmups: F-art Sketch heads!

Bahaha, I'm just dying on the F-art part.

Yep, I'll be 28 in less than a month, and this still makes me die.

First row: Bleach fanart- Katen Kyōkotsu are the first two chicks, Shunsui Kyōraku (on the end) is their owner. They're swords, so it's not as perverted as it sounds.

Then Michiko, from the series Tara introduced me too. And .. you know, Wolverine out of nowhere.
