So my friend Ryan told me about Comic-con Toronto and that I should get a table there. And so I thought, why not? But I wanted to bring something new to the table. ... well, my table.
I decided to finish my comic. I had pages of it going for issue #0, #1, and #2, but just needed to finish them. But knowing me, I dream big and get overwhelmed, so I settled myself for finishing issue #0. For the last two months I dedicated a lot of hours into this comic, and I'm finally able to present it to everyone!
Eighth Sin, a comic and story idea I've had in my head since I was sixteen, has shaped itself out of all the experiences I've had, the friends I've made, and anything and everything inbetween.
So I finished to comic, I got it printed, and hoisted myself over to Toronto. I met so many cool people, great artists (professional and amateur alike) that I plan on doing this quite often. And one of the coolest things? Aside from meeting LeVar Burton (aka Geordie La-fudgin-Forge, and the show Reading Rainbow!) and a tiny tiny bit with Marina Sirtis, I sold everyone of my Eighth Sin comics that I printed out!
I present to you guys the cover for now. I have yet to put up any sample pages, but let's just say, there's samples everywhere in my blog. Almost every character you see is a part of this story, even if they don't play any key or pivotal role in the story.
