And it looks okay. I had fun painting it. Getting better and better. :)

I've been creative

And when I'm creative, i draw sexy chicks. Kinda. One is with a dragon? When I colour these, i'll fix some mistakes, but for now, linework!

They cannot be stopped

A picture I threw into Photoshop from my last semester character design book. To keep sane from schoolwork, I did this inbetween storyboard panels and characters. Hooray!

Threw in some of my band Meathook's lyrics in there for fun 'cause hey... it suits it.

Manipulations

I like to try my hand at everything when it comes to making/drawing/whatever with pictures. :) So here's a little photo manipulation I did using my girlfriend Angel, one stock photo I found from the internet and a buncha landscape/stock photos I took from back home in Napanee or various places. I had fun with this. :) Fun and quick to do.

For a week now my drawing ability has been shit :P I dunno what the hell happened, but I haven't been able to draw anything. Until maybe last night/this morning. So I might have to hand in my character design assignment late. Which completely sucks, but man did I ever try and draw. You should see all the bad roughs I have from this project.

But like I said, it came back to me finally so things will hopefully work themselves out

Personal Piece and Painter Practice.

Here's an old drawing of mine that I'm repainting in Painter X, trying to work this program out :) People can do some amazing stuff with it and dammit, I wanna be able to do amazing stuff, too. So this is a sample of one of the pieces I'm working on. It's a full body, just cropped down. I'm using the acrylics brush mostly. Fun stuff, man.

Life drawing, animation... you know...

Thought I'd throw up some life drawings. I want to get better at it, so while going to extra life more often is a given now (heh!), anyone have any tips? Some of my hands are atrocious (but are getting better!) my life drawings as of late are off and on-- either sweet or well... bunk. :) So again, any tips would be awesome. :D








And the animation for the Muzzle Sync. I was gunna make it longer... but couldn't. When I do the beak sync however, I'll throw it all together. The quote is from Waterboy. :) I'll also probably clean this one up, fix his hands, all that.

Finally put some animations up on google video 'cause I had trouble with youtube and Stacey recommended it. :D

Digital Painting

This is my first real venture into colouring with a tablet. i've had a tablet since September, but it's been in hiatus for the last few months as I gathered money to repair it :)

Now I have it though. So i'll eventually get the hang of digital painting. :)

A drawing I did for my girlfriend. her character on the left, Ruzulka (i believe) and mine on the right, Inanna (I named her after The Tea Party song when I was big into them). Wish Inanna came out better. :)

I'll be updating a little more frequently, especially with school stuff, my own stuff and maybe some old pieces I haven't scanned yet.

Character Heads

I was bored and wanted to do more marker practice. So I whipped up two new characters. They're supposed to be twins but... I might have to tweak them a bit.

As always, most of my characters are from this whole story I have in my head.

had to redo her hair in Photoshop... but she's done in marker and pencil crayon. Fun stuff. I went too far with Photoshop and did a background.. also totally random :)
